CHASING GLORY (3) Backing up quickly. Didn't find the line when 5th last start at Evangeline Downs. Expecting improvement here and up against a less challenging field. Coming back in trip. Suitably placed in this race. EL PRINCPE CARLOS (1) Controlled the speed to win by a margin of 1/2L last run at this venue and has minimal work to do from the gate. Getting better in recent performances. Serious player. GIOCOSA (2) Set the pace to win by a head last start around here and will try to take advantage of the draw. Has good tactical speed and will be nicely positioned. Underrated. GRAND CHARMING ELAN (9) Resumes after a spell of 31 weeks. Was competitive when 2nd last time at Lone Star Park and lining up against easier rivals. Stays under notice.
